Yas Haspital

In 1995, the plan to build a comprehensive women's hospital in the courtyard of Mirza Kuchak Khan Hospital, which is 70 years old and is located on Ostad Nejatollahi Shomali Street, was approved by Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Due to limited government resources, 3 floors of its skeleton were built over 16 years and the project was stopped. It was decided that the Mohib Institute would complete the project so that it could be put into operation, a hospital where women would be used in the medical, nursing and inpatient services levels, so that after operation, it would be a women's hospital project in Tehran province. Finally, after the construction of this hospital, it was handed over to Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This hospital was the first government hospital to be managed by the non-governmental sector. Due to the change in hospital construction standards and the need for redesign, the previous skeleton was demolished due to insufficient strength and the "Yas Comprehensive Women's Hospital" was built on the same site with 22,000 square meters of building on 8 floors.
